Welcome to the Punjabi Computing Resource Centre web site. This web site has been designed to provide developers and end-users (free!) information on using Punjabi computing solutions. It is specifically geared towards the Unicode implementation of Gurmukhi.

A Punjabi version of this web site is now available.

News

8th January 2005 - Holiday Season

The holiday season has seen major changes and additions to the web site. This includes the addition of three new fonts: AnmolUni, AnmolUniBani and Lohit Punjabi. We've also launched a Gurmukhi Compatibility Guide which gives details of major program compatibility issues with Unicode Gurmukhi. Users are welcomed to e-mail in their additions.

For users who wish to learn more about Gurmukhi, we have introduced a guide suitably labelled 'An Introduction to Gurmukhi'. Finally, there are minor improvements around the whole site. Enjoy!

5th September 2004 - Punjabi Site Launched!

You can download Saab - a free Unicode 4.0, OpenType, Gurmukhi (Punjabi) font.
